ACV Capital-backed Durianpay reports profitability and enters next phase of cross-border growth

ACV Capital–backed Durianpay closed 2025 with solid operating performance, ending the year profitable and entering its next phase of growth through stablecoin-based cross-border money movement.

Durianpay, Indonesia’s B2B payments infrastructure platform, processed more than US$5.5 billion in total payment volume in 2025, exiting December at a record US$803 million in monthly total payment volume (TPV). This performance reflects the company’s growing scale within one of Southeast Asia’s most complex and tightly regulated payments environments.

Founded in 2020, Durianpay delivers regulated payment and settlement infrastructure to enterprise and platform clients, supporting domestic and cross-border flows. Transaction volumes increased steadily through the year, reaching over 90 million in December, driven by deeper wallet share among large customers and greater adoption of higher value settlement offerings.

The company ended 2025 profitable, a notable milestone in a sector where many payments platforms continue to prioritize volume growth over financial sustainability. By year end, headcount reached 100, while operating expenses grew at a slower pace than revenue, demonstrating improving operating efficiency and leverage.

Over the past two years, Durianpay has materially strengthened its financial profile. Revenue increased more than elevenfold, while EBITDA improved by approximately US$3.4 million, culminating in full year profitability. The improvement reflects structural margin expansion and sustained cost discipline rather than short-term optimization.

From profitable core to cross-border growth

This trajectory reflects a deliberate capital allocation strategy. The core payments platform now generates sufficient internal cash flow to fund expansion, while stablecoin based money movement represents a higher growth extension built on the same compliance, risk management, and settlement infrastructure.

Indonesia sits at the center of some of the world’s largest cross-border payment flows. Annual trade, remittance, and treasury-related movements exceed US$1 trillion, yet much of this activity remains fragmented and operationally complex, creating demand for modern, regulated settlement infrastructure.

“We’ve built a profitable payments engine domestically, and we are now extending that foundation into regulated, bank-grade cross-border money movement using stablecoins,” said Natasha Ardiani Hartoro, Co-Founder and CEO of Durianpay.

Durianpay plans to expand selectively into new markets, launch differentiated infrastructure products, and scale its platform to support materially larger transaction volumes while maintaining profitability and regulatory discipline. The company aims to build a trusted, regulated cross-border money movement infrastructure connecting Indonesia with global payment corridors.
