Recognised in Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch 2026, ACV Capital-backed Soul Parking manages 150 locations across Indonesia, using mechanised parking systems and digital technology to increase capacity and manage parking operations.
Indonesia’s major cities have long faced pressure on parking capacity as vehicle traffic grows. The challenge has created opportunities for technology that can increase capacity and improve how parking facilities are managed.
Founded by Kenneth Darmansjah, CEO, and Unggul Depirianto, CTO, Soul Parking develops mechanised parking systems and technology for parking operations. Its systems manage vehicle access and monitor transactions. Its consumer app also allows drivers to find parking and make digital payments.
The company manages 150 locations across Indonesia and was named to Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch 2026 in the Consumer Technology category.
Up to 8x more capacity from existing parking space
Soul Parking’s mechanised parking system allows properties to fit more motorcycles into existing parking areas. The system can increase motorcycle parking capacity by up to eight times.
It is designed for locations where parking demand exceeds available capacity. Property owners can accommodate more vehicles without expanding the existing parking area.
Beyond physical parking infrastructure
Soul Parking’s operating system connects with infrastructure such as barrier gates and tracks vehicles entering and leaving a property. Operators can use the system to monitor parking activity and transactions in real time.
Drivers can also use Soul Parking’s app to search for parking, pay digitally and request early retrieval of motorcycles stored in its mechanised facilities.
The business extends beyond physical parking capacity. Its technology also manages vehicle access, payments and parking activity across its locations.
Taking the model beyond Indonesia’s largest cities
Soul Parking manages 150 locations across Indonesia, with further expansion planned beyond the country’s largest cities.
In January 2025, the company closed a Series A extension led by ACV Capital and AppWorks. Part of the funding will support expansion into second- and third-tier cities.
Kenneth Darmansjah, Co-Founder and CEO of Soul Parking, has pointed to further growth opportunities in Indonesia as the company expands into more cities.
The expansion would bring Soul Parking’s parking systems to a wider range of properties and urban markets across Indonesia.
